A digital cooldown space for developers after long coding sessions. Slowbit combines interactive visuals, curated ambient soundscapes, and mood-based check-ins to create a quiet place to step away from work.

  • Built 20 animated Canvas scenes with adjustable motion and immersive fullscreen controls.
  • Developed a Web Audio mixer with recorded nature sounds, smooth transitions, and scene-specific presets.
  • Synchronized water-drop audio with animated pond ripples.
  • Persisted favorite scenes, hidden visuals, and personalized sound mixes locally without requiring an account.
  • Created an anonymous message board backed by Cloudflare Workers and D1.
  • Added privacy-conscious product analytics with PostHog, disabling autocapture and session recording.
  • Validated audio loading, playback lifecycle, preferences, and board behavior with automated tests.
